Boror Vendor Agreement
The terms that apply to your Boror Marketplace vendor account and to the products or services you list.
Effective 25 August 2026By submitting a vendor application and, once approved, by using your Boror Marketplace account, you (the “Vendor”) agree to this Vendor Agreement together with the Boror Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Where this Agreement and the Terms differ for vendor matters, this Agreement applies.
1. Application & Approval
- You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate, complete and current information, including valid identification and, where applicable, business registration details.
- Boror verifies submitted documents and may request additional information before approving an application.
- Approval is at Boror’s discretion. An application may be declined without a stated reason.
2. What You May Offer
- You may list products, services, or both, as declared in your application.
- You only list goods you legally own or are authorized to sell, and services you are qualified and permitted to provide.
- Listings, descriptions, images and prices must be accurate and not misleading.
- You are responsible for all listings created under your account and for any fees, taxes or regulatory obligations that arise from the goods or services you offer.
3. Order Fulfilment
- You fulfil confirmed orders promptly and to the standard described in your listings.
- If you cannot fulfil an order, you notify Boror before the promised delivery time so the customer can be offered alternatives.
- Delivery is coordinated through Boror; you follow the pickup, handover and return instructions given to you.
4. Pricing, Fees & Payouts
- Boror charges a commission or service fee as communicated at onboarding. Fees are deducted from the value of orders settled to you.
- Payouts are made after an order is completed and settled. Payout method (M-Pesa or bank account) is set up after your account is approved.
- Payout timing follows Boror’s settlement cycle; Boror may adjust the cycle with notice.
5. Tax & Compliance
- You maintain a valid KRA PIN and comply with all Kenyan tax reporting obligations relating to your business.
- You comply with applicable Kenyan laws, including the Consumer Protection Act and sector regulations relevant to your products or services.
6. Account Standards
- You keep your account details, documents and payout information up to date.
- You do not use your account to list prohibited, counterfeit or illegal goods, or to engage in fraud, misrepresentation or circumvention of Boror’s payment systems.
- You may not transfer or sell your vendor account.
7. Suspension & Termination
- Boror may suspend or terminate your account for breach of this Agreement, fraud, unlawful activity, or persistent non-fulfilment, after reasonable notice where practicable.
- On suspension or termination, you stop using the account immediately. Outstanding legitimate customer orders are settled in good faith.
8. Liability
- You are responsible for your own listings, fulfilment, and the quality and legality of the goods or services you offer.
- To the extent permitted by law, Boror’s aggregate liability arising from your vendor account is limited to the fees paid or payable in the preceding three months.
9. Changes to This Agreement
- Boror may update this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to you before they take effect.
- Continued use of your account after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
